Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to ensure precision machining of complex components. Your expertise will directly contribute to producing high-quality parts efficiently, utilizing advanced machining techniques and software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with a dedicated team committed to excellence in manufacturing. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for various machines such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software like CATIA or SolidWorks. Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accurate machining. Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including tools, tooling, and fixtures, to meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Perform precision measurements using tools such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments to verify part dimensions. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency while maintaining high quality. Troubleshoot machining issues related to electrical discharge machining (EDM), tooling wear, or program errors; make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Collaborate with design engineers using CAD software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks to review designs and suggest manufacturability improvements. Requirements Proven experience programming CNC milling machines and CNC lathes with a strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for designing parts and generating tool paths. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings with an emphasis on GD&T standards. Mechanical knowledge of tooling, geometry, machining processes, and the operation of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines. Understanding of manufacturing principles including lean manufacturing practices for process optimization. Ability to interpret schematics and electrical diagrams related to machine operation. Good math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, speeds, feeds, and tool paths. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across engineering and production departments. Join us as a CNC Programmer if you're passionate about precision manufacturing and eager to contribute your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and quality!
