HAAS CNC

Lathe and Mill 3-5 Axis.

Job Requirements:

Reviews CAD design blueprints Makes calculations for programming including material requirements Works with staff to determine exact dimensions and best means to produce product on appropriate CNC machine. Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests. Prepares geometric layout of designs using MasterCam & Solid Works Determines sequence of operations in a program. Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations. Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency. Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools appropriate for programs. Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for finished product throughput. Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely complete the task successfully. Works closely with the Engineering staff to identify needs for production Travelers. Education High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2-yr. college courses pertaining to machining and/or programming or certificate from certified program

Minimum Experience:

Extensive knowledge of CNC equipment & MasterCam Minimum 5-years as set-up machinist plus programming experience Must have excellent computer skills Must have excellent reading comprehension skills Must be able to read Blueprints Good math skills (algebra & trigonometry) Excellent written and oral communication skills.
