In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision-engineered components. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD and Fusion 360 to produce complex parts with tight tolerances. Set up CNC machining equipment, including tooling selection, fixture setup, and calibration to ensure optimal machining conditions. Operate CNC machines like , milling machines, including 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring smooth operation throughout production runs. Interpret mechanical drawings and 3d models and schematics using GD&T standards to verify dimensions and specifications. Maintain documentation of machining processes, setup procedures. Requirements Proven experience programming and operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines; experience with 5-axis CNC machining is highly desirable. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAM programming tools for creating precise toolpaths. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and GD&T principles for accurate part fabrication. Familiarity with tooling selection, fixture design, and setup procedures for various CNC machines. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste in production workflows. Ability to utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision instruments for quality assurance. Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and geometric tolerances necessary for high-quality machining.
