CNC Programmer

About the Role We are looking for a skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist to become a part of our manufacturing team in Walnut, CA. The right candidate will have practical experience operating Doosan and Haas CNC machines equipped with Haas and Fanuc controls. They should also be comfortable managing several machines at the same time within a high-volume production setting. Our Expectations Set up, operate, and monitor 5-axis CNC milling machines, including Doosan and Haas equipment. Operate 2 to 3 machines at the same time, ensuring consistent quality and meeting production goals. Execute programs utilizing Haas and Fanuc CNC control systems. Independently perform machine setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments. Inspect parts with precision measurement tools to confirm they meet required specifications. Pinpoint and resolve machining problems, including tooling, fixturing, and program adjustments, to minimize downtime. Keep detailed and accurate production records, setup sheets, and inspection logs. Adhere to all safety guidelines and help maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Maintain open communication with programming and quality teams to address issues and improve processes. What You'll Need A minimum of 5 years of hands-on CNC machining experience is essential. Proven experience operating Doosan CNC machines is a must. Experience operating Haas CNC machines. Expertise in using Haas and Fanuc CNC control systems. Demonstrated 5-axis machining proficiency. Ability to manage 2 to 3 machines concurrently to maximize output. Comprehensive knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and workholding principles. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T tolerances. Familiarity with precision measurement tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical or vocational training is a plus. Bonus Points Prior experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing fields. Familiarity with first-article inspection procedures. Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO quality standards.
