Job Description

CNC Programmer Position:
S&S is currently looking to add another key member to our team of experienced machinists. This person will program different CNC machines and ensure they are producing quality parts. This position requires someone who is motivated, resourceful, and has a strong attention to detail.
CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
Program and support the production of our Nakamura-Tome WT-150II and Schaublin lathes. Create and optimize CNC programs. Create and supply necessary setup lists, prints or specific instructions. Support continuous improvement. Collaborate with machinists to improve setups, reduce cycle times, and enhance part quality.
Qualifications:
Ability to read and understand prints. 3+ years of CNC programming experience. Strong understanding of CNC Lathe operations. Strong understanding of G-code. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software(s). Experience with SolidWorks. Team oriented and not afraid to ask questions. Good problem solving and communication skills. Familiar with Microsoft excel.
Preferred Skills:
CNC Milling operation / programming. Well organized.

From $32.00 per hour 100% paid health with Kaiser after 90 days. Life Insurance Paid time off and holidays. Parental Leave Clean, Temperature controlled shop. 74° all year around.
