Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Laser & Press Break Setup / Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser (Tube and Plate), CNC press brake, and welding in
GMAW/FCAW/GTAW
processes. Your expertise will ensure precise fabrication, efficient production workflows, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery, contribute to innovative projects, and develop your skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We cover a wide range of markets, from heavy structural to detailed OEM manufacturing. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate programming and calibration using CNC programming techniques. Prepare and adjust press brake machines for bending sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications. Perform welding tasks to assemble fabricated parts with precision. Read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure proper fabrication and assembly. Conduct quality inspections utilizing micrometers, calipers, precision measuring instruments, and visual checks to verify dimensions and weld integrity. Maintain safety protocols by operating forklifts, cranes, hand tools, and other machinery responsibly while adhering to OSHA standards. Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and optimize tooling setups for maximum efficiency. Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects Experience Proven experience in CNC laser cutting setup and operation within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Hands-on knowledge of press brake setup and operation for sheet metal bending processes. Skilled in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, with a strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings. Familiarity with CNC programming software and the ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery effectively. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measuring parts accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation, crane handling, hand tools usage, and general manufacturing safety standards. Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
