In this Lead CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer opportunity, you'll play a key role in establishing Talon Lab and owning machining work long term. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead CNC Machinist / CAM Programmer position include: 10+ years targeted experience (open to candidates with 5+ years); CNC mill experience required; 3+2 and 5-axis experience required; aerospace manufacturing preferred Independently program, set up, and operate CNC mills for prototype and small-batch work Proficiency with Mastercam, Fusion, NX, or similar CAM software Ability to take a drawing or CAD model through planning, tooling/workholding selection, toolpath programming, first-part prove-out, and inspection Design and make fixtures, soft jaws, and other workholding as needed Prove out new programs and troubleshoot dimensional accuracy, surface finish, tool wear, chatter, and setup issues Inspect parts against drawings and GD&T requirements, selecting appropriate measurement methods Document repeatable manufacturing recipes including programs, setup sheets, tools, fixtures, offsets, inspection plans, and revision history

Salary:

$180,000 - $220,000 per year and added equity, commensurate with experience.
