The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining processes, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. This role is essential in ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing operations, contributing to the production of high-quality components. Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations. Utilize CAM programming software to create efficient machining paths. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Conduct setup and calibration of CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place. Perform quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and bore gauges to ensure adherence to specifications. Apply GD&T principles to maintain accuracy and consistency in production. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements. Maintain documentation of programming changes, setups, and inspections. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming with experience in electrical discharge machining (EDM) preferred. Familiarity with CAM programming software and SolidWorks for design integration. Strong mathematical skills for calculations related to machining processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately. Knowledge of coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality assurance purposes. Understanding of GD&T principles to ensure compliance with industry standards. Experience with bore gauges and other precision measuring tools is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
