Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer specializing in CNC programming to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development, optimization, and implementation of CNC machining processes to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality across our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support complex fabrication projects, and enhance our manufacturing capabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence cutting-edge manufacturing techniques within a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to excellence in production. Duties Develop, validate, and optimize CNC programs for various machining centers using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD tools. Collaborate with design engineers to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T specifications to ensure manufacturability. Implement process improvements through lean manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Conduct project scheduling for manufacturing projects, coordinating resources and timelines to meet production goals efficiently. Perform troubleshooting on industrial equipment, CNC machines, robotics, and vision inspection systems to minimize downtime and maintain high-quality standards. Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing issues related to tooling, fabrication, assembly lines, or mechanical failures; develop corrective actions accordingly. Support factory experience initiatives by integrating automation solutions such as robot programming, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and industrial equipment upgrades. Create detailed schematics and process documentation for fabrication processes involving welding, tooling design, plastics injection molding, and assembly operations. Facilitate cross-functional communication between process engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless operations. Skills Extensive experience with CNC programming (G-code), CAM programming tools, and CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastics injection molding, welding techniques, fabrication methods, and assembly line operations. Proficiency in project scheduling tools and methodologies to coordinate complex manufacturing projects effectively. Expertise in root cause analysis techniques to identify issues within industrial equipment or processes swiftly. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics (including robot programming), vision inspection systems, and automation integration. Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting within a manufacturing facility environment. Understanding of
ISO 9001
standards and implementation of quality management systems in manufacturing settings. Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings related to industrial engineering and process engineering projects. Strong communication skills for documenting processes clearly and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
