Full Job Description Senior CNC Programmer Santa Ana, CA Pay:

$43.00 - $64.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Day Shift - Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. We are hiring an experienced Senior CNC Programmer with advanced Mastercam and 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC programming experience. You will program complex, tight-tolerance components and support machining operations from setup and prove-out through production. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC Programmer or Mastercam Programmer experienced in high-precision manufacturing. Aerospace, defense, medical device, or similar precision machining experience is highly desirable. What You'll Do Create CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines using Mastercam. Develop and optimize toolpaths, cutting strategies, feeds, speeds, and cycle times. Program complex parts requiring tight tolerances and high-quality surface finishes. Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, toolholders, fixtures, and work-holding. Support machine setup, first-article prove-outs, troubleshooting, and production. Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and customer specifications. Work directly with CNC machinists to resolve programming and machining issues. Improve tool life, process repeatability, part quality, and overall machining efficiency. Machine titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, and engineering plastics. Required Qualifications At least 5 years of CNC programming experience. Advanced Mastercam programming experience. Strong experience programming 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines. Thorough knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies. Experience machining tight-tolerance, complex components. Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and CAD models. Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and support machinists on the shop floor. Preferred Experience Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing experience. Experience machining titanium, Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum, or engineering plastics. Experience with automated pallet systems and rotary tables. Experience with Matsuura, Doosan, or Haas machining centers.
