Job Description

Shape Flight-Ready Hardware as an Aerospace Multi-Axis CNC CAM Programmer Picture your first week: you're handed a complex aerospace print. You analyze the GD&T, map out a manufacturing plan, design custom fixturing, and translate strategy into clean toolpaths. You post G-code, run a machine simulation, verify the first article, and fine-tune offsets and code edits to squeeze out cycle time—then guide the part seamlessly into repeatable production. What You'll Tackle Program and operate multi-axis equipment, including 2-axis, 3-axis, and 5-axis mills, lathes, and mill/turn platforms. Create and optimize CNC programs with Mastercam or similar CAM tools, from roughing through finishing. Post and manually edit G-code to improve efficiency and accuracy. Design and develop custom tooling and fixturing solutions suited to tight-tolerance aerospace work. Author clear, usable setup documentation to enable consistent results across shifts. Use machine simulations and maintain accurate machine/control definitions. Partner with manufacturing engineers and production to transition parts from first article to full-rate production. Apply deep knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups to protect form, fit, and function. How You'll Work You'll thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment where precision matters. You'll own your programming outcomes end-to-end—planning, tooling, programming, proving out, and continuous improvement—while collaborating closely with engineering and shop floor teams. What You Bring 5+ years of CNC machining experience. 2+ years of CNC programming experience. Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up. Experience with high-precision, multi-axis machines. Proven ability to optimize and manually edit G-code. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow detailed work instructions. U.S. Person status as defined by ITAR regulations. Preferred Degree in engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in aerospace or turbine engine component manufacturing. Why You'll Thrive Here If you're self-driven, detail-obsessed, and energized by solving complex machining challenges, you'll find a home with our team. We value precision, innovation, and shared pride in building flight-critical components. Ready to Build What Flies Bring your programming expertise and craftsmanship to an advanced, team-oriented shop where your work moves from concept to the sky.
