CNC Laser Programmer (Machine Shop)

Contract to hire Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Laser Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for creating flat-pattern sheet metal layouts from customer drawings or models, generating CNC programs, and preparing shop documentation to support production. The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience, blueprint reading skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Responsibilities Create flat-pattern sheet metal layouts from customer-supplied drawings or 3D models Generate g-code and setup sheets for CNC Laser and Turret Press machines Prepare shop travelers with detailed operations and manufacturing instructions for each part Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) Communicate with engineers and customers as needed to clarify specifications and requirements Maintain accuracy and organization throughout the programming and production support process Qualifications At least 2 years of experience programming precision sheet metal components Proficiency with FabriWIN, AP100, or similar programming software such as AutoCAD Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and BOMs Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; JobBOSS experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and communication skills Why Apply Competitive pay: $35
