In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs to ensure precise and efficient machining of complex components. Your expertise will directly impact production quality, throughput, and overall operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and cutting-edge CAD/CAM software in a fast-paced environment committed to innovation and continuous improvement. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for various machines including CNC milling machines or CNC lathes using CAM programming Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate machining instructions. Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and calibration are in place for optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to review design specifications and suggest improvements for manufacturability. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming errors, or machine performance; implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, adjustments, and inspection results to ensure traceability and quality compliance. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as Fanuc or similar control systems. Strong knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD for designing parts and creating toolpaths. Experience with CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for generating CNC code from CAD models. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling selection, geometry calculations, and machine operation principles. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of GD&T standards for ensuring parts meet strict tolerances.
INDMAIN Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
