We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Broomfield, CO. This is a hands-on prototype machining role for a highly skilled machinist who takes pride in producing precision, dimensionally accurate, and aesthetically finished components. This role is ideal for an experienced machinist who enjoys prototype work, complex parts, problem solving, and having a direct influence on how a component is manufactured. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver who can take a part from engineering drawing and raw material through setup, machining, inspection, and final completion with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do:

Independently set up, program, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC milling machines. Manufacture complex prototype and production components to tight dimensional and cosmetic requirements. Take ownership of the complete machining process, from raw material to finished part. Develop machining strategies and determine the appropriate tools, workholding, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters. Interpret detailed engineering drawings, GD&T, and other technical documentation. Manage multiple jobs and priorities while meeting established deadlines. Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.

What We're Looking For:

Strong experience setting up and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills. Experience with CAM programming; GibbsCAM experience strongly preferred. Ability to independently determine machining strategies from an engineering drawing. 8-10+ years of CNC machining experience in a prototype, precision machining, or similar environment. Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling, workholding, and material behavior. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality, tight-tolerance parts. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Must provide and maintain a personal set of standard machinist hand tools. We're looking for someone who: Takes ownership of their work from setup through final inspection.
