This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can take a part from request-for-quote (RFQ) all the way through first article production, and hand it off to the production team. Key Responsibilities Develop preliminary machining processes for estimating and quoting. Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, with a focus on horizontal milling machines. Optimize and maintain CNC programs to improve cycle time and precision. Lead efforts in machining automation and process streamlining. Select tools, design fixtures, and make improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste. Perform quality checks and ensure all components meet tight tolerances and specifications. Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they arise. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in CNC machining and programming. Expertise in G-code and CAM software (Mastercam preferred). In-depth knowledge of horizontal milling and multi-axis machining. Experience with automation implementation and process development. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, including GD&T. Workplace Values This team thrives on:
