100% onsite A growing aerospace and defense manufacturer is hiring an advanced 5-Axis CNC Programmer/Machinist to support a major expansion of its 5-axis department. This is a hands-on, cradle-to-grave position. You will personally program, set up, run and inspect complex, tight-tolerance components—not simply create programs for another employee to execute. Responsibilities Program complex 5-axis parts using Mastercam Develop tooling, workholding and multi-axis machining strategies Model tools and create safe, collision-free programs Simulate and validate programs before machining Complete setups, prove-outs and machine operation Troubleshoot programming, tooling and quality issues Inspect completed parts before releasing them to quality Improve toolpaths, cycle times and process reliability Must-Haves Advanced 5-axis programming experience using Mastercam Ability to independently program, set up, run and inspect complex parts Strong multi-axis toolpath, tooling and collision-avoidance knowledge Experience producing complex, tight-tolerance components True simultaneous 5-axis, aerospace, probing, advanced GD&T and exotic-material experience are strongly preferred. The company is rapidly expanding its 5-axis department and investing in new DMG, Makino, Matsuura, Haas and other advanced equipment.
