Focused On Machining is a growing aerospace and precision manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist/Programmer to join our team. We're a fast-paced, quality-driven shop producing high-precision components for aerospace and defense customers — and we're on a growth run right now, with major new contract wins driving real opportunity for the right person to take ownership of a program.

Our Lathes:

Puma 200A, Hwacheon Hitech 200B, and a new Puma 2100Y on order — all Fanuc controls. What You'll Do Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes for complex, tight-tolerance parts Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and job travelers Program and edit CNC programs using Mastercam and CAD software Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections Use precision inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Machine Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and exotic alloys Maintain aerospace-grade quality standards Qualifications CNC lathe machining experience required (Fanuc control experience a plus) Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Mastercam programming experience (2+ years) Solid mechanical aptitude and manufacturing background Proficiency in basic shop math Forklift experience a plus Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident) as defined by ITAR — this role requires access to export-controlled technical data Why Work at FOM 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) — day shift $1,500 hiring bonus for verified lathe machining/programming experience Flexible scheduling - make up time when life happens Optional overtime available Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Modern CNC equipment, growing program work, hands-on shop culture
