Job Description

Required Skills:
Proficient use of CAM Creation of CNC programs for Turning and Milling Machines 3 & 4 Axis Solid understanding of general machining practices & CNC setup requirements. Working understanding of GD&T. Ability To Analyze blueprints, and drawings to determine best machining process, selection of cutting tools & machine speeds and feeds. Creation of Tooling Control Sheets to document setup & operation. Design effective Tooling and Work Holding for machining process Support shop floor in development & running of First Article. High attention to detail, accustomed to deadlines and accountability Ability to define manufacturing problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to support legacy parts and processes
Preferred Skills:
(Training Provided For A Qualified Applicant) Create & Maintain Process Models and Drawings In depth knowledge of Mastercam Set up and validate CNC programs with Vericut 5 Axis Programming Knowledge of Siemens 840D, Fanuc and OSP machine controls Ability to provide estimated run time for quotations Familiar with machine probing, and pallet system integration for "Lights Out Manufacturing"

3 years, with at least 1 year of development experience (NPI)
Programming:
2 years with any CAM software High School Diploma or GED Vocational School or Associates Degree Preferred Knowledge of Siemens 840D, Fanuc and OSP machine controls
