The company utilizes advanced CNC machining technologies, automation systems, and lean manufacturing principles to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions to its customers. Job Description Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and reliability Create, edit, and maintain CNC programs using both manual G-code and CAM software Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish efficient manufacturing methods and workflows Provide hands-on support on CNC mills and lathes, including setup, tooling, fixture configuration, and process validation Diagnose process issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement using Lean methodologies Support the development of inspection processes, including gauging and validation methods Ensure all products meet engineering specifications, GD&T requirements, and applicable industry standards (e.g., AMS, SAE) Contribute to the design and implementation of multi-step manufacturing processes to meet customer and internal requirements Work closely with shop floor personnel to ensure successful execution of new and revised processes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC machining environment At least 5 years of hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering specifications Proficiency in CNC programming (manual and CAM-based) Experience with CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, SURFCAM, or similar) Familiarity with CNC controls such as Okuma and Fanuc preferred Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive projects to completion Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating professionalism What's on
