CNC Programmer Contract Manufacturer/Job Shop actively seeking experienced CNC programmer, preferably with general knowledge of engineering development and design work to include mechanical structures, components and assemblies using Solid Works computer-aided-design (CAD) and solid modeling. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work to include process review & verification to customer-supplied design requirements, CNC programming, design of tooling and fixturing, and/or modification of existing designs. Competent at material selection, fastener selection, conceptual designs and final designs. Provides limited engineering support to manufacturing floor.
Experience:
- You must be a US citizen
- You must have a strong working knowledge of 3-D modeling and drafting per
ANSI Y14.100
using Solidworks 2012 or later- Simulation and manufacturing experience a plus
- Knowledge of typical machine shop operations
- Practical knowledge of MIG and TIG welding (not as a welder), including knowledge of weld symbols a plus
