Set up and run Mori Seiki

NL1500 SY CNC

lathes with live tooling. Install/align fixtures, prove out new/repeat jobs, and edit programs (G-code) as needed.

Quality Control:

Produce high-quality, close-tolerance parts. Utilize gauges and inspection equipment to ensure precision.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Maintain machine tooling and troubleshoot minor shop issues to sustain production rates.

Workflow Management:

Follow job routers/travelers and perform deburring and secondary tasks as required. Safety & 5

S:

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Support continuous improvement and notify leadership of efficiency or quality issues.

Qualifications Experience:

1+ years of CNC machining experience (Swiss turn experience is a plus).

Technical Skills:

Proficient in blueprint reading, machine controls, tool offsets, and machining best practices.

Soft Skills:

strong analytical problem-solving, ability to work independently or in a team, and the capacity to produce quality work under tight deadlines.

Mindset:

Focused, positive, and dedicated to 5S principles. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 10+ hours per day. Capability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
