Full Job Description Job Summary:

The role of this position is to create programs for the CNC Plasma and Flame-cutting machines utilizing part nesting software. The CNC Programmer position will grow and change as the department does.

Essential Functions:

Support all TTI/FSS Company Safety Policies to ensure they are followed, and personnel and property are kept safe Read technical drawings and guide in the set-up of machines in accordance with these blueprints Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly Program and oversee quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality Consider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordingly Troubleshoot and resolve problems with the machines as they arise

Qualifications:

An individual must be able to perform each essential duty above average and always represent the company in a professional manner. Minimum 3 years' previous experience working in a steel manufacturing setting is required Must have strong attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong mechanical aptitude is required Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving problems that arise Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential Should have a positive and professional attitude Capable of working in a shop environment for periods of time Adhere to all safety requirements and protocols Education and/or Experience High School Diploma Language Skills Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with co-workers, other departments, and managers.
