Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist - Aerospace Print-to-Part Tavares, FL 32778 $40/hr (90-day probation) → $50/hr | Day Shift |

No Weekends The Situation:

Two-man aerospace job shop adding a third. My partner and I need someone who can take a drawing and a STEP file and deliver a finished part without hand-holding. You own the process from CAM to chips.

What You'll Run:

5-Axis Mazak machining center Dual-spindle Hwacheon lathe (live tooling) 3-

Axis Hurco VMX Materials:

Aluminum, titanium, Inconel and superalloys

Tolerances:

Aerospace (GD&T required)

Your Workflow:

Receive drawing + solid model Program in Mastercam 2017 (we provide the seat) Select cutting tools (we order them) Design/setup fixtures and prove out Run production and inspect parts (you do in-process checks; I handle the FAI paperwork ) Deliver finished part

Requirements:

10+ years programming both multi-axis mills AND dual-spindle lathes Print-to-part autonomy (fixturing, tooling selection, G-code editing) GD&T fluency Can lift 50 lbs No degree required. No certifications required. Just prove you can do the work.

Schedule & Pay:

7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday (days only, no nights/weekends) Overtime available on demand basis (not mandatory, available when busy) $40/hr start → $50/hr after 90 days (contingent on verifying you actually have the skills claimed in interview) Shop provides all tools and cutting tools No benefits; higher hourly rate to compensate

The Reality:

This is a small shop. You'll program it, set it up, and run it. If you need three layers of management approval to buy an endmill, look elsewhere. If you want to walk in, fire up a 5-axis Mazak, and make aerospace parts without meetings, you'll fit right in.
