Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. If you enjoy working with your hands in production environment as well as on CNC's, we have a job for you in our acrylic custom framing department. In this role, you will assist in developing and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs for various machining operations, ensuring precision and learning all aspects of the production process. This position offers a half day on a computer programming and 2nd half of the day working on manufacturing acrylic picture frames. In this full-time, on-site role as Entry-Level CNC Programmer, you main job functions will include: Responsibilities Assist in creating and editing CNC programs for milling machines with CAD/CAM software (EnRoute 23) for running 3-axis CNC milling machines (Multicam, C.R. Onsrud). Input designs base on customer parameters and use basic mathematics and geometry. Program for optimum production of parts and yields of acrylic. Support the setup and calibration of CNC machines, including tools, fixtures, and tooling configurations. Help Dept. Supervisor in troubleshooting and adjusting machines as needed. Assist in keeping the workflow moving through the department. Support post-production tasks including labeling parts. On occasion working with power tools, sanders, manual router stations, and paint spray booth operations. Qualifications Some shop skills or former production experience a plus CAD/CAM or Graphic Design Software experience. ( Fusion, Auto Cad ) Must have used a 3 Axis routing CNC ( C.R. Onsrud or Multicam ) Must be familiar with FANUC code ( G-code / M- code ) Ability to work with a sense of urgency while following safety rules. High attention to detail. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Must be able to work well in a team-driven production environment. Ability to work from 7:30 am as late as 5 pm (employees usually leave work around 4pm but overtime is needed occasionally) Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
