In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Mazak systems to drive production efficiency, ensuring that complex parts are programmed, set up, and machined to exact specifications while maintaining high quality standards. Responsibilities Translate complex blueprints into efficient CNC programs using Mazatrol and G-Code to optimize production cycles. Execute complete machine setups, including tool registers, offsets, and fixture installations to ensure seamless production runs. Perform first-article inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish against engineering prints. Proactively monitor machine performance, diagnosing and adjusting process parameters to minimize downtime and maintain output quality. Utilize advanced control systems, including Fusion, Matrix, and Smooth controls, to manage multi-axis machining operations. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot PLC issues and refine machining strategies for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a production manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, and Mazatrol programming. Demonstrated expertise in setting up and operating 2, 3, and 4-axis CNC lathes. Solid understanding of GD&T principles for accurate part inspection. Preferred Skills Experience with live tooling and Y-axis machining operations. Proficiency in CAM software such as Mastercam. Technical background in PLC programming and troubleshooting. Prior experience operating Star Swiss-style lathes.
