Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fanuc CNC Mill Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Duties Set up Fanuc CNC milling machines, including installing tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to technical specifications and blueprints Program CNC mills using G-code and M-code commands, ensuring accurate tool paths and efficient machining processes Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements and tolerances Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software for programming and tooling design Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes Perform manual machining tasks on lathes or grinders when necessary to support CNC operations Troubleshoot machine issues, perform routine maintenance, and make adjustments to optimize performance Conduct CNC quality inspections using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and measurement instruments to verify part accuracy Read and interpret electrical discharge machining (EDM) instructions when applicable for complex parts Maintain detailed documentation of setups, programs, inspections, and production logs Skills Proficiency in Fanuc CNC G-code programming and M-code commands with a strong understanding of CNC machine operation principles Experience with Mazatrol programming is a plus but not required Solid knowledge of mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation of mechanical blueprints in conjunction with GD&T standards Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or general CAD tools for part design review and tooling setup Ability to operate machining tools including lathes, grinders, bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, hand tools, power tools, and other manual machining equipment Mechanical knowledge combined with an understanding of manufacturing processes such as metal machining, grinding, assembly, and tooling setup Basic math skills necessary for precise measurement calculations and machine adjustments Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques for complex component fabrication when applicable Experience in CNC quality inspection using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and efficiently Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a manufacturing environment Join us in delivering top-tier manufacturing solutions by leveraging your CNC expertise! Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
