Position :
CNC Mill Programmer/Toolmaker Come join the QIG team of creative and enthusiastic employees! Thursday:
6:00 AM•3:30
PM Friday:
6:00 AM•10:00 AM (Plus Over-time, as needed)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3+ years of CNC programming and machining experience preferred. Strong blueprint reading and tolerance interpretation skills. Experience working to close-tolerance machining requirements. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Program and operate(CNC mills/lathes) involving precision tolerances. Operate(Manual mills/lathes) involving precision tolerances. Ability to read drawings and interpret tolerances. Ability to use inspection / measurement equipment: micrometers, calipers etc. Required to visually inspect parts with a close attention to detail. Meet or exceed current quality standards. The ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean. Provide preventative maintenance on machines. Ability to work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.
