Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs for our machining centers, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. Your expertise will directly contribute to the quality of our manufactured components and the success of our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for various machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, utilizing CAM programming software. Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate machining. Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, ensuring proper tooling and machine calibration. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA to assist in designing parts and verifying dimensions before machining. Conduct precision measurements using tools like bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy. Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize machining processes, reduce waste, and improve workflow efficiency. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, schematics, or electrical discharge machining (EDM), ensuring minimal downtime. Qualifications Proven experience with CNC programming for both milling machines and lathes using Fanuc controls or similar systems. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and related tools for designing and programming parts. Familiarity with GD&T standards, blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical drawings. Experience operating precision measuring instruments including bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and machining techniques for high-precision manufacturing. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of geometry, math fundamentals related to machining tolerances, and schematic interpretation. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
