Job Description
Full Job Description STC Aerospace is seeking to hire a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time CNC Programmer position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with expertise using Mastercam or Catia. This role is critical in ensuring the precision and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, contributing to high-quality production outcomes. Work Hours are Monday-Thursday 5am - 3:30pm. Compensation STC Aerospace offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam/Catia software for aerospace components. Collaborate closely with engineers and machinists to translate complex aerospace engineering drawings and specifications into efficient CNC programs. Implement toolpath strategies to achieve tight tolerances and adhere to aerospace industry standards. Maintain accurate documentation of production processes and modifications. Conduct in-process and post-process inspections to guarantee the highest level of quality and compliance with aerospace regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues to minimize production downtime. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to aerospace-specific requirements and documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of machining processes, specifically within the aerospace industry. Proficiency in Mastercam/Catia software, including the creation and modification of complex toolpaths. Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace machining techniques and processes. Familiarity with aerospace materials and their machining requirements. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages. Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex aerospace engineering drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational education is a plus). A track record of successful projects related to aerospace component manufacturing is preferred.
