Fiber Laser Programmer / Operator (CNC Fiber + CypCut + AutoCAD)

Position Overview This is not just a machine operator role. We are seeking someone with hands-on experience operating a CNC Fiber Laser using CypCut software , who also has AutoCAD experience and understands how to build clean, efficient, repeatable fabrication files.

This role will:

Operate the fiber laser as needed Program and optimize nests using CypCut Build and maintain a standardized component catalog Assist with layout design and product file creation Develop and maintain a clear, efficient file naming and organizational system You will play a key role in helping structure and streamline our fabrication process. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC fiber laser equipment Program and adjust cutting parameters using CypCut software Create and modify DXF files Use AutoCAD to assist with layouts and fabrication drawings Develop standardized flat patterns for repeat components (backsplashes, legs, panels, brackets, etc.) Create and maintain organized digital file structures and part nomenclature Optimize nests to reduce material waste Perform quality checks and verify part accuracy Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to improve workflow Required Qualifications Proven experience operating a CNC Fiber Laser Experience with CypCut software Proficiency in AutoCAD Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience creating and organizing DXF files Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in stainless steel fabrication Understanding of bend allowances and flat pattern development Experience working in a custom fabrication environment Knowledge of press brake operations Familiarity with structured part numbering systems What We're Looking For We want someone who: Takes ownership of processes Thinks in systems, not shortcuts Understands that clean files and clear nomenclature matter Wants to help build something long-term Can operate independently while supporting a team How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief description of your experience with CNC fiber lasers, CypCut, and AutoCAD.
