Job Description Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam for milling operations. Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to create efficient manufacturing strategies. Design and develop fixtures, tooling, and work-holding solutions. Create setup sheets and detailed work instructions for production teams. Improve existing programs and machining processes to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times. Support prototype builds and low-volume production projects. Program and support a variety of equipment including 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, EDM, and waterjet systems. Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes on the shop floor. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to bring new products into production. The Successful Applicant A successful CNC Programmer/Engineer should have: 4+ years of CNC programming experience utilizing Mastercam. Experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T. Ability to troubleshoot CNC programs and edit NC code when necessary. Hands-on mindset with the ability to support production as needed. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
