Kelly, in partnership with a large manufacturing organization, is looking for CNC Lathe Programme r in Grand Rapids, MI ! Our client is growing and adding a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer to their team! This is a direct hire CNC Lathe Programmer position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
Create, edit, and optimize CNC Lathe programs using Esprit and other programming software as needed. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to define machining operations. Select appropriate tools, materials, and methods for part production. Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on machines in addition to improving existing processes Ensure programs support quality and efficiency standards. Maintain documentation and update records for all CNC programs. Design and produce tools or fixtures to support machining and production leads
Required Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years of programming, set-up, and operation of CNC Lathes Ability to read & interpret blueprints/technical drawings, solid understanding of machining principles and toolpaths.
