What You'll DoCreate, test, and optimize CNC program code for complex plastic parts using technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsModify and enhance existing programs to improve efficiency and meet evolving production demandsAnalyze program relationships to ensure changes don't negatively impact other operationsTroubleshoot and improve program performance by working closely with machinists and supervisorsPartner with internal teams to understand and implement program updates and enhancementsResolve technical questions related to program intent, inputs/outputs, and system controlsDevelop and maintain tooling and equipment inventory specific to plastic machiningEnsure programs include accurate tooling lists, process plans, and job aids for safe and efficient productionSet up CNC machines, load raw plastic materials, and run test cycles to ensure parts meet customer specificationsSupport shop floor planning and workflow coordinationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentContribute to quality initiatives and lean manufacturing effortsTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support team successMeet TKMNA Employee Attributes/CompetenciesWhat You Bring2+ years of related experience with proven success as a CNC ProgrammerStrong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawingsSolid understanding of CNC programming and machine operations (plastic machining experience is a plus)Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)High attention to detail and commitment to precisionStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsWhat Sets You ApartBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of experience in CNC programmingKnowledge of programming languages such as COBOL and PrologExperience with object-oriented languages like Java, C++, or ACTORWhy Join Us?
