Weekend CNC Operator/Programmer

Job description

Primary Responsibilities:

Setup, program, and operate the 3-axis CNC machines Quality checking machined parts, calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers Read prints and understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines

Shift Schedule:

36+ hours per week Weekend Shift, 6a-630p, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Additional Weekend Shift Premium pay Qualifications and Skills CNC programming/operating experience, Fluent WorkNC Experience as well as CAM Software is preferred Experience with FANUC and or Milltronics controls is preferred Effective communication and conflict resolution skills Must possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence and a positive attitude, open-minded, willing to learn new techniques A minimum of 2 years of 3/5-axis experience High School Diploma or equivalent is required' '
