Job Description
CNC Lathe Programmer Twin City Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC lathe programmer to create and edit programs using Mastercam for Tsugami, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura lathes. If you have strong CNC programming skills and enjoy working through machining challenges, we want to hear from you!

$30
•$40 /hr
Hours:
1st shift: 5:00 AM
•3:30 PM, Monday-Thursday
2nd shift: 3:00 PM
•1:30 AM, Monday-Friday Duties of the CNC lathe programmer:
Create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC lathe programs using Mastercam.
Program Tsugami, Mori Seiki, and Nakamura lathes.
Read blueprints and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.
Determine tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences.
Support machine setups and program prove-outs to ensure parts meet specifications.
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs to improve part quality and cycle times.
Work with machinists and production staff to keep jobs running efficiently. Requirements of the CNC lathe programmer:
Previous CNC lathe programming experience using Mastercam.
Strong understanding of turning operations, tooling, and setup procedures.
Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances.
Experience troubleshooting programs and making adjustments.
Experience with Tsugami, Mori Seiki, or Nakamura equipment preferred.
