  S_180682 The Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, Manual Lathes & Mills.

Solid machine tool background and the ability to manufacture precision parts that meet engineering specifications and quality standards in a production environment. This role is a hands-on machining position driving quality and optimizing production efficiency, throughput while maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.

Modify, and optimize CNC programs using machine controls

Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet specifications

Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and understand GD&T.

Perform first-article inspections (PPAP) and verify dimensional accuracy using precision measuring instruments.

Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtime.

Make program adjustments to improve cycle times, quality, and machine efficiency. ...

• 2+ years of CNC machining or metal fabrication experience

• Basic understanding of metal properties and machining processes
• Strong attention to detail, safety and quality
