Job Description

About the Role As a Precision CNC Turning Specialist, you will play a vital role in our production cycle by transforming raw materials into high-precision components. You will leverage your expertise in Fanuc controls and multi-axis machining to ensure our output meets rigorous engineering standards while driving continuous process improvements. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and optimize G and M code programs for 2-5 axis CNC lathes to maximize production efficiency. Interpret intricate technical blueprints to ensure all manufactured parts meet exact design specifications. Develop and standardize setup documentation to streamline manufacturing workflows and reduce cycle times. Perform critical quality inspections, ensuring all components align with
ISO 9001
2015 quality standards. Proactively troubleshoot machining challenges to minimize downtime and maintain consistent throughput. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine new product introductions and enhance existing manufacturing methods. Apply advanced workholding techniques to ensure stability and precision during high-speed machining operations. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC lathe setup and operation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of tooling geometry, optimal speeds, and feed rates. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Demonstrated experience with CNC Swiss lathes and multi-axis milling centers. Prior experience with programming and editing NC code. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and precision measurement tools.
