Hours:
7:00am-3:00pm We are looking for a motivated and dependable CNC Lathe / Swiss / Hydromat Machine Operator to join a great manufacturing team. This company is a growing precision machining operation producing high-volume, tight-tolerance components for a variety of industrial applications. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, learning different manufacturing processes, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing quality parts. CNC Programmer/Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Operate CNC lathes, Swiss-style CNC machines, Hydromat rotary transfer machines, and other production equipment.
  • Load and unload machines and monitor production cycles.
  • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Follow prints, work instructions, inspection procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Make basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain part quality.
  • Monitor tooling and notify appropriate personnel when tooling needs to be changed or replaced.
  • Identify and report machining, tooling, or quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Assist with machine setups and changeovers as skills develop.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
CNC Programmer/Operator Requirements:
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous CNC, Swiss, Hydromat, or screw machine experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or mechanical drawings is preferred.
  • Comfortable using basic measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop additional machining skills.
