CNC Rotary Transfer Programmer and Operator

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Rotary Transfer Programmer & Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating rotary transfer machines to produce high-volume precision components. The position will also supervise a small CNC Lathe shop. The ideal candidate has strong experience with multi-station rotary transfer equipment, a deep understanding of machining processes, FUNAC programming abilities and a commitment to quality and efficiency. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer and Operator to gain experience in supervising a small shop. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC rotary transfer machines Develop and optimize machining processes for multi-station operations Read and interpret Solidworks drawings, and CAD models Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials Perform machine setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting Monitor production to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and process improvements Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed Maintain accurate documentation for programs, setups, and production runs Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience with CNC rotary transfer machines (e.g., Hydromat, Pfiffner, or similar) Strong G-code programming and/or proprietary control experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Experience with high-volume production environments Proficiency with precision measurement tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and quality Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or salary. $32 - $40 per hour.
