We specialize in the manufacturing and installation of granite, quartz and solid surface countertops and cabinetry.

Position Summary:

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and maintaining programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop CNC programs using AutoCad and Alphacam software for mills based on engineering drawings. Configure tools and ensure efficient production Analyze blueprint dimensions in order to calculate correct part dimension for machines, tool selection, machine speeds and feed rates. Make mechanical and/or program adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements. Communicate recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality. Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices. Develop and maintain fixtures. Must be able to respond professionally to process improvements. Maintain CNC program library with control of revisions. Provide training to other programmers.

Position Competencies:

Education and/or experience consist of a High School or GED Diploma required - Associates Degree or Certification in related field preferred and a minimum of 5+ years experience with CNC programming . Prior experience with Northwood CNC or Thermwood CNC a plus. Experience programming in AutoCad or Alphacam . Proficient understanding of G-code and M-code programming. Experience setting up and troubleshooting CNC machines. Capable of measuring with calipers, micrometers and other gages. Proficient in shop mathematics in order to; calculate tool offsets, home positions, and verify print dimensions. Has basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry. Able to read and interpret blue prints, drawings, models, sketches and GD&T. Understanding methodizing and process improvements . Works well alone and in a team environment. Good communication skills. This is a Full-Time Position. Hours are Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30 pm, plus overtime as projects demand.
