CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer, Mastercam We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Mastercam expertise to support high precision machining operations in a fast paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for programming complex components for multi axis equipment, supporting shop floor prove outs, optimizing machining strategies, and helping drive quality, efficiency, and repeatability across production. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands on machining knowledge, strong programming ability, and experience working with tight tolerance parts in a demanding production setting. Key Responsibilities Program 3 axis, 4 axis, and 5 axis CNC milling machines using Mastercam Program CNC lathes and mill turn equipment Develop, refine, and troubleshoot complex toolpaths for precision machined parts Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and customer driven specifications Support setup, prove out, and validation of new and revised CNC programs on the shop floor Recommend tooling, fixtures, workholding, and cutting strategies for efficient production Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to support production goals Maintain program documentation, revision history, and process consistency Improve cycle times and machining performance while maintaining quality and safety requirements Support continuous improvement efforts in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment Qualifications 10 or more years of overall machining experience 5 or more years of Mastercam programming experience Strong experience programming 5 axis simultaneous machining applications Experience with 3 axis mills, CNC lathes, and mill turn machines Strong understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling selection, and workholding methods Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply GD&T accurately Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated precision manufacturing environments is preferred Ability to work within documentation, compliance, and process control requirements
