CNC Programmer / Operator Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC machines manufacturing steel molds for the rubber industry. This role is hands-on and requires the ability to program at the machine controls, perform setups and changeovers, and run production efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. You'll work independently in a small, well-maintained shop environment with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role. Key Responsibilities Program CNC machines to manufacture steel molds, including writing and editing programs at the controls Set up and operate up to three (3) Fadal CNC machines Perform tooling changes, program edits, and production changeovers Operate CNC equipment to produce finished parts that meet customer specifications Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure quality and accuracy Use precision measuring tools such as calipers , along with lathes and mills as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Required Qualifications 3-5 years of hands-on experience programming and operating CNC machines Strong setup experience, including tooling and offsets Proficient in reading prints and using precision measuring tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Willingness to learn and absorb knowledge from experienced former employees during transition Preferred Qualifications Formal education or training in CNC programming or machining Interest and potential to grow into a lead or shop management role over time Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72000.00/yr. Willing to pay for right candidate up to 40/hr. Even consider paying 5K signing bonus. We talked about paying that after 6 months as a bonus 401K Health Benefits and Insurance PTO/Vacation 8AM to 4PM schedule, could probably be somewhat flexible if needed They don't have to work OT or Weekends unless they really wanted to Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Lawnside,NJ.
