This role is responsible for developing CNC programs, supporting laser cutting operations, improving machining processes, and collaborating with production teams to ensure high-quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting and other CNC machinery. Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic repairs on laser machines to ensure maximum efficiency. Verify and document all programming changes to ensure accuracy and compliance with engineering standards. Work closely with supervisors, group leaders, and cross-functional teams to address machining challenges and meet production goals. Follow all quality control procedures, engineering standards, and workplace safety guidelines. Continuously improve machining processes by evaluating tool paths, run times, and material usage.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming software such as SolidCAM, Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar platforms. Experience with laser cutting equipment and related maintenance procedures. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD files, and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong mechanical aptitude. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

$27.00 - $28.00

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00
PM Pay:
$27.00 - $28.00 per hour
