Job Description We are hiring to fill out our CNC engineering/Set up department. We are looking to expand our team with driven individuals willing to grow with our company. 6 years CNC machining experience and 2 years CNC Engineering/set-up experience required. Other mechanical experience a plus.

Duties:

Set up a variety of machines, both mill and lathes Provide a First Piece to Quality control for acceptance Read and understand blueprints. Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keep the Forman informed of any machine in need of service. Maintain a clean, safe work area Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to departmental standards including quality and productivity goals Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Education/Certifications
• High school, or equivalent Apprenticeship or other trade school an acceptable alternative
• Skills/Abilities/Competencies
• Understanding of safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts which might cause injury to self, others, or environment.

Able to set up and produce a part with limited oversight Solid micrometer and other metrological equipment skills Working knowledge of AutoCad a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must have strong PC skills and ability to work with Microsoft products
