In this CNC Programmer/Operator opportunity in Amityville, NY, you'll own the full CNC process—from modeling and programming through testing and shop-floor operations—working with a small team that values both precision and practical problem-solving. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer/Operator position include: 3+ years programming and operating CNC vertical machining centers with a strong command of G-code Program, model, set up, and operate CNC equipment, testing tools, and work hands-on on the shop floor Comfort with end-to-end machining tasks (not a programming-only role) HAAS experience highly preferred; vertical mills, waterjets, and 3-axis gantry machines (including Techno routers) Manual machining experience such as Bridgeport mills is a plus CAD/CAM experience using Autodesk Inventor and Aspire/Carve Troubleshoot machining errors, programming challenges, and equipment issues to improve efficiency Inspect and test parts to meet strict quality standards while collaborating with production, design, and quality teams

Salary:

$35 - $40 an hour
