Job Description

Randstad is currently seeking an expert CNC Lathe Machinist for our premier client in Bohemia, NY. Our client is a global leader in the production of precision laboratory instrumentation for the petrochemical industry, looking for a high-level technician to join their established manufacturing team.
salary:
$63,000 - $70,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8:30 AM - 5

High SchoolResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Setup & Operation:
Full responsibility for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe work centers.
Programming:
Develop and write new programs from prints; edit existing code to optimize machining performance.
Precision:
Maintain extremely tight tolerances of $\pm.0005$ using micrometers and advanced inspection gear.
Technical Specs:
Utilize Live Tooling and Mori-Seiki Y-axis (a plus) to produce complex scientific components. Requirements Proven experience in CNC Lathe setup and programming. Ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications. Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.). Ability to lift 100 lbs with assistance.
