CNC Programmer

A full-service defense engineering and manufacturing company in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a CNC Programmer to join its precision manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, high-tolerance parts for aircraft and submarines while joining a strong, team-oriented shop culture that is investing in new large 5-axis high-performance machining equipment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include: Minimum 5 years of CNC programming and operating experience, with 3• 4• and 5-axis CNC milling experience required Mastercam proficiency is required, with strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming Develop, write, optimize, and troubleshoot advanced CNC programs for precision manufacturing Determine machining strategies, tooling, feeds, speeds, fixtures, and part-holding methods for complex parts Work with materials including aluminum, titanium, steel, composites, Inconel, and other specialty alloys Read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T while maintaining tolerances within .001 Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to support AS9100 and ISO compliance standards U.S. citizenship required, with defense manufacturing experience, Vericut knowledge, and strong shop-floor communication skills preferred

Salary :

$80,000•$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
