Job Description

We are a growing custom construction and cabinetry company looking for a highly detailed Production Manager to take ownership of our cabinet manufacturing process.
We have a streamlined workflow:
our dedicated Kitchen Designer handles the client relationships and creates the initial layouts in Chief Architect, and we need you to take those architectural handoffs and engineer them for flawless CNC production. The Role You will be the bridge between design and the shop floor. Your primary responsibility will be converting Chief Architect plans into our manufacturing software (Mozaik), verifying all parametric data, generating CNC cutlists, and ensuring our shop produces high-quality frameless cabinetry. You will also serve as the gatekeeper for our outsourced parts, ensuring all fractional door and drawer schedules align perfectly with our hardware requirements before ordering.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Programming:
Translate Chief Architect layout sheets into Mozaik, applying our shop's specific construction parameters, reveals, and hardware clearances.
Production Management:
Generate nested CNC cutlists, toolpaths, and assembly reports for the shop floor.
Hardware & Outsourcing:
Calculate and verify dimensions for specialty hardware (e.g., pocket doors, blind corners) and generate accurate fractional order schedules for outsourced doors and drawer fronts (e.g., Conestoga).
CNC Operation & QC:
Oversee the CNC routing of sheet goods, understanding the nuances of wood manufacturing (grain direction, plywood thickness variations, minimizing tear-out).
Process Improvement:
Maintain and update our parametric software libraries to ensure hinge boring, slide clearances, and material thicknesses are always perfectly dialed in.
Who We Are Looking For The Ideal Candidate:
Has direct experience programming and operating a CNC router using Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, or Microvellum.
