Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist . In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and troubleshooting advanced CNC equipment, including lathes, multiple spindle machines, and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and tight tolerances, dedicated to maintaining our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Job Roles and Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate various CNC machines to produce high-quality carbon components. Perform complex setups on CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). Read and accurately interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Select the appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials, making necessary machine adjustments to optimize performance. Perform first-piece inspections and continuous quality checks to ensure all parts meet strict tolerance specifications. Troubleshoot machining issues, resolve errors, and adjust CNC programs as needed to minimize downtime. Strictly adhere to all quality control, safety, and production standards within the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications and Certifications Experience:
Proven, hands-on experience working directly as a CNC Programmer and Setup Machinist.
Machine Proficiency:
Extensive experience operating and setting up CNC lathes, multiple spindle machines, and VMCs.
Technical Skills:
Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
Machining Knowledge:
Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, feeds/speeds, and tight tolerances.
Work Style:
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced production team.
