Responsibilities:
Create and edit programs for the CNC lathes specifically: Eurotech - 710 and 420 / Hardinge - Cobra 42 and T42 / Miyano / Okuma Must be able to work independently to create programs and follow through the machining process from start to finish Modify and edit CNC programming as required and communicate programming issues and concerns with the supervisor Document and create job sheets Tracks and manages machining area Design and create jigs and fixtures to produce components more efficiently Identify tooling and fixtures needed to complete job from start to finish. Optimize the machining process and streamline productivity to produce products more efficiently Machine product to specified requirements as defined on the job drawings Verify dimensions of parts machined using precision measuring equipment Ensures safety operating practices are demonstrated at all times Run first piece tests and set up quality control standards Maintain tooling in optimal condition
Qualifications:
Must have prior CNC Programming/Set Up experience Experience with Okuma, Miyano, Eurotech or other Hardinge Lathe a plus Must be able to read and interpret blueprints Ability to use measuring tools Must be a highly motivated and reliable employee Experience with mill-turning Ability to troubleshoot and work through issues effectively Must possess skills, experience, and training to function effectively
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs at times Requires good eye, hand coordination and work in a safe manner around the machines Full Time / Hourly /
